HIFLUX builds filters around a single idea: flow rate changes everything. By replacing wood-pulp paper with a precisely woven lyocell fabric, HIFLUX removes the bottleneck that slows extraction and flattens the cup.
The result is a brewing tool that lets you grind finer, brew faster and still keep the cup clean — extracting more of what you want and less of what you don't, backed by published extraction research from the HIFLUX lab.

Complexity
A fast extraction speed prevents water from ponding in the dripper slurry, so purer water contacts the coffee particles with every new pour. This maximises the concentration gradient, optimises diffusion and delivers sufficient extraction yield in a short time. Even with a finer grind, the high flow rate suppresses negative flavour compounds while promoting positive ones — a far more complex cup.
Viscosity
The precisely engineered weave of the lyocell filter intentionally allows micro-particles under 20 micrometres to pass through, dramatically improving texture and body. You get a silky, velvety mouthfeel even in light roasts, and a rich body that brings overall balance to the coffee.
Clarity
Lyocell is a regenerated cellulose fibre extruded into smooth, continuous threads, unlike wood-pulp paper with its microscopic surface fuzz. Less surface area for lipid adhesion means more oils pass through — and since lipids carry aromatics, the brew stays more aromatic, more intense and clearer in flavour expression for longer.
